Rights of reproduction
Private use

By providing access to the site the Directorate-General External Communication grants a permit to the user, who accepts it, subject to the following conditions.
The permit gives the user the right to non-collective and non-exclusive private use of the texts which are placed online. It comprises a right of reproduction for storage, display on a single workstation screen and reproduction of a single copy, for back up or printing on paper.

Public use
Except for the installation of hyperlinks (see hereafter) any inclusion in a network configuration and any dissemination, in any form whatsoever, is subject to prior permission. This permission must be requested from the Directorate-General or via the e-mail address of the site manager. A response to this will be given as quickly as possible.

Investigation of applications, however, requires forms to be exchanged in which the precise nature and scope of the use being considered are stated in more detail. Charges may be imposed.

Installation of hyperlinks
Hyperlinks to the site may be installed freely and this may be done without permission. The pages on this site may not, however, be incorporated in the pages on another site.

Reproduction of texts
Unless otherwise stated, the texts, legends and other written information on the site are the property of the Directorate-General External Communication of the FPS Chancery of the Prime Minister. These texts, which have been written in cooperation with the services of the Royal Palace, may be reproduced free of charge, without prior permission, for private or non-commercial use, with the following acknowledgement of their source:

Translations which are produced independently must, compulsorily, state the following: "translation not produced by the author of the text" and must acknowledge the source.

Reproduction of images
Unless otherwise stated, the Directorate-General External Communication of the FPS Chancery of the Prime Minister, the press service of the Royal Palace and/or the Museum of the Dynasty hold the copyright for the photographs and visual elements in the texts.

These photographs and visual elements must not be copied, used or reproduced without prior permission in writing from the Directorate-General External Communication. This agreement must be requested from the Directorate-General or via the following e-mail address: webmaster@belgium.fgov.be.

A reply will be forthcoming as quickly as possible.

Unless otherwise stated, the press agency Belga holds the copyright for the photographs of the Royal Family which are used to illustrate the activities agenda. These photographs must not be copied, used or reproduced.

Although the publisher has done everything possible to identify the authors of the photographs or their beneficiaries this has not been possible in every case. Authors the publisher was unable to trace may get in touch with the Directorate-General External Communication.

Prosecution

Those failing to comply with these stipulations or making any unlawful use of the full contents or part of the site will be prosecuted
