Activities in Belgium

The King regularly visits the country’s various provinces, as well as companies and institutions such as museums, schools, universities, military infrastructures, sports facilities, etc.

All these visits are intended to provide the King with a clear picture of the situation of the country – ongoing projects, problems, people who are suffering, their grievances, their demands and their hopes. He draws personal conclusions and notifies the Ministers.

The Queen and other members of the Royal Family show their interest in the various sectors of society by making many visits around the country.
