Civil List

The King’s Civil List consists of all the resources that the Nation places at the disposal of the Head of State in order to enable him to carry out his royal function in all its aspects and with appropriate dignity. Pursuant to Article 89 of the Constitution, it is set at the start of the reign for the entire duration thereof. In addition to financial means, buildings which belong to the properties of the Federal State are also made available for the same purpose.
