The Royal Palace of Brussels open to the public in the summer.
![]()
This year, the Royal Palace of Brussels opens its doors to the public from July 26th to September 5. This yearly event has been for several years now an occasion for the King and the Queen to promote interest for art, culture and sciences.
Palace visitors will see a large variety of works as a result of a fruitful co-operation among the Royal Palace and several partners. The Federal Science Administration presents this year in the Grand Hall an exhibition on biodiversity. Technopolis® displays a series of interactive experiences from all over Europe in the Mirror Room on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The King and the Queen also introduce this year a series of works especially designed by plastician Michaël Borremans for freshly refurbished rooms of the Palace. This project again emphasises the interest of the King and the Queen for incorporating Belgian contemporary art to the Royal Collection.
Several Palace rooms have been refurbished and redesigned on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union. Even the most frequent visitors will discover something new.
